Dr. Carol Rowe, DVM
Dr. Carol Rowe, DVM, is the owner and lead veterinarian at Blue Ridge Pet Clinic, Inc. Dr. Rowe was raised in Morgan Hill, California. Her family moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1978 where Dr. Rowe completed her senior year at Sabino High School. After graduation she attended Pima Community College and the University of Arizona, later attending Colorado State University, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1988.
Dr. Rowe, an accredited veterinarian, began practicing at Valley Animal Hospital, in Tucson Arizona, mentoring under Dr. Thomas Miller. In 1993 Dr. Rowe purchased Desert Small Animal Hospital from Dr. Gerry Ault, DVM. There, she provided primary veterinary care to the community until she sold the clinic in 2002.
Dr. Rowe moved to the White Mountains of Arizona and continued her practice after purchasing Blue Ridge Pet Clinic from Dr. Nick Weidel, DVM in 2002.
Dr. Rowe is married and has one son. She is a vital member of the White Mountain community and the area has greatly benefited from her many generous efforts on behalf of local charitable organizations. Blue Ridge Pet Clinic has also been a proud sponsor of Pinetop/Lakeside Little League since 2003.
In addition to providing primary patient care, Dr. Rowe's special interests include soft-tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery and cardiology. Currently she is the only veterinarian in the White Mountain Community who is credentialed in Regenerative Stem Cell Therapy. Under her leadership, the Blue Ridge Pet Clinic has earned accredition by the American Animal Hospital Association, veterinary medicine's single independent accreditation organization. She ensures that the utmost level of care is provided at Blue Ridge Pet Clinic, giving special attention to bond-centric strategies; a holistic approach to family-pet-veterinary care that supports the emotional needs of pet-owning families. Her many years of experience and education have proven her to be a community leader in providing pets and their families with compassionate, quality care. |
